Dr. Carpenter has a Ph.D. in Legal Psychology and 24 years experience in trial consulting.  Her research areas include jury decision-making, scientific jury selection, factors influencing civil damage award decisions, and how jurors assess witness credibility. She specializes in the development of trial strategies and themes, jury selection, statistical analysis, and understanding juror reasoning and behavior.

Dr. Carpenter has consulted in medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury cases, amongst others, and has extensive experience in high stakes civil litigation, including multiple mass torts. She has worked in venues as diverse as East Texas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, St. Louis, New Orleans, and Miami. She lives in Houston, Texas.
